About Deltaxecho
A specialist offshore advisory practice built in East Africa, for East Africa.
Deltaxecho was founded to close the gap between internationally sophisticated offshore services and the realities of doing business in the Kenyan market.
What Deltaxecho does, and for whom.
Deltaxecho is an offshore investment advisory firm headquartered in Kakamega, Kenya, serving entrepreneurs, family offices, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals across Kenya and the wider East African Community. We help clients design and implement offshore corporate structures, establish international banking relationships, and maintain compliance with the reporting obligations those structures attract. Our work covers four primary service lines — structuring, banking introduction, strategic advisory, and compliance maintenance — delivered as an integrated engagement rather than as disconnected transactions. We operate in English and work with clients throughout Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kakamega, and cross-border in Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda.
How we work, and what sets our practice apart.
Founded in 2017, Deltaxecho has completed over 140 structuring engagements across five jurisdictions. Every client engagement begins with a written discovery document — a structured questionnaire covering assets, income sources, residency, business activities, and objectives — before any jurisdiction is proposed. This prevents the common failure mode of advisers recommending a jurisdiction they are most familiar with, regardless of fit. Our team of six includes qualified advisers with experience in Mauritius, BVI, and UAE structures, and we retain correspondent relationships with registered agents in all five of our active jurisdictions. We apply a systematic indigo-tech methodology: digital-first documentation, structured comparison matrices, and compliance calendars that translate complex obligations into clear, actionable schedules. Clients who have previously worked with generalist advisers consistently note the difference in rigour and follow-through. We attend the annual Africa Offshore Summit and maintain active membership in the East African Regulatory Compliance Network, ensuring that our knowledge reflects current conditions rather than historical precedent.
What we do not do — and why that matters.
Offshore structuring is not appropriate for every client or every objective, and we say so when it is not. We do not provide tax advice under Kenyan domestic law — for that, clients should engage a registered Kenyan tax consultant. We do not guarantee banking outcomes: account-opening decisions rest with the bank's compliance department, and no honest adviser can promise approval. We do not work with jurisdictions that carry active FATF grey-list status or that are widely rejected by correspondent banks. And we do not accept engagements where the stated purpose raises concerns under anti-money-laundering standards. Within those boundaries, we will give every client our full attention, our current knowledge, and a clear written record of every recommendation we make.
